CNC Machinist

Position Summary

The job is located in Lafayette, IN. This is a full-time, permanent position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with voluntary overtime as needed. Travel is not required for this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models
  • Loading raw materials into the CNC machine
  • Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software (Fusion360)
  • Understanding of G-Code and M-Code
  • Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job
  • Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications
  • Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process
  • Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product
  • Cleaning and maintaining the machine
  • Follow defined machine shop procedures and comply with quality requirements
  • Ensure full adherence to 5S housekeeping and cleanliness practices at all times
  • Ensure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly
  • Ensure all records are completed appropriately
  • Ensure that non-conforming material is clearly identified and segregated
  • Ensure that the escalation procedure for quality concerns is followed
  • Ensure achievement of production throughput against stated capacity targets
  • Undertake continuous training and development as requested by management
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
  • Work positively with support functions to fully define the processes/procedures/controls relevant to work activities
  • Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team
  • Share ideas to improve operations by recommending, and implementing continuous process and procedure improvements to optimize results while adhering to quality standards, Company policies, and Customer requirements
  • Support, comply, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, the Company Handbook, quality and environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures

EU Sales Manager (Life Science)

Position Summary

The job is based in European Union (preferably Germany or the Netherlands) and categorised as hybrid/remote. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but is flexible based on need. This role would require upwards of 30% or more travel time with evening, night, and weekend work as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients (customers and distributors) while actively seeking out and engaging new prospects.
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide insights for product development and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Provide product demonstrations, presentations, and technical support to clients as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to management.
